I know. I'm suppose to be talking bout myself but I got bored after a couple of lines.

So, i've decided to try doing a beauty post instead.

I've always loved dolling up my eyes which explains the huge load of eyeshadows in my makeup collection BUT as much as I love beautifying the eyes, I am too lazy to apply mascara.

Applying mascara has never been a 'to-do' in my makeup list and mascara has NEVER been a 'to-buy' in my shopping list. Most of the mascara I've owned are mainly free gifts or presents from friend and they are usually from high-end brands but I would have usually conveniently forgot about them until they've dried out and I would simply just toss it into the bin. When my friends ask why I'm not wearing mascara, I tell them that I have none or they've dried out and they would buy me one (or a few) on my next birthday/christmas. The cycle repeats again.

I was at a local drugstore last weekend and Maybelline and L'oreal were having sales there. For some weird reason, I bought almost every mascara that was available there only to leave them in the car totally forgetting about it until yesterday when I went to the drugstore and saw the mascaras again.

After a long-winded story about my relationship with mascara, I actually just want to say that I WORE MASCARA TODAY !!!!

This is after I've removed my eye makeup. As you can see, my lashes are dead straight and please forgive the unruly brow. I'm trying to let it grow before i wax them goodbye.

This is me with mascara. Looking at the difference it makes, I'm now banging my head on the walls for letting my older, more expensive mascara dry and tossing them in the bin but looking at the fact that applying mascara consume so much time, I'm not sure if i want to do it everytime I go out. I already take long enough to prepare myself!!

My mom is so used to seeing me without mascara and when she saw me today, she thought I was wearing false lashes and when I told her I'm just wearing mascara, she went on and on about how pretty my eyes look with mascara on and how i should be applying mascara more often. In order to make her stop, I asked her to buy me more mascara. That works all the time!! haha

For someone who hardly went out with mascara, that is an awfully huge amount of products to be applied on the lashes. Oh well!
